About Me
I am a sex educator turned sex therapist. I am also a speaker, author, writer, podcaster, filmmaker, former sex toy sales associate, and former radio and TV producer. With a career spanning the gamut in human sexuality, one thing has never changed - I love communicating with people about intimacy, sex and relationships.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT 109150). My approach to therapy is similar to how I approach my life. It's a bit eclectic, but full of zest, compassion and curiosity. I have the same training as any other licensed MFT and can provide traditional talk therapy, but I am passionate about working with individuals, and couples, around relationship, gender and sexual issues. I am incredibly comfortable working with clients whose sexual orientation, behavior and identity fall anywhere on the spectrum from traditional to alternative.
I have my MA in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University, and an MEd in Human Sexuality Education from Widener University. I have also completed the sex educator training at San Francisco Sex Information, and am a current member of SSSS.
